Little Peaks Preschool was founded in 1993 by a group of dedicated parents in the town of Keene. Over the past several decades, we have expanded our operations and now operate five mornings each week, serving as the Universal Pre-K provider for Keene Central School.
With reverence for play and wonder, we provide a program for children that is rooted in our natural Adirondack surroundings. Partnering with families, we provide a rich learning environment where diversity is celebrated, where kindness and sincerity are used to solve everyday problems, and where children’s questions drive independent learning.
Little Peaks is currently expanding to meet the needs of our community's families. We are creating an early childhood center for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, which will welcome children five full days each week, year-round. Our quality program is available to all eligible children, regardless of financial need. Expanding on our limited scholarship fund will permit us to service more children, often those who progress the most when given an opportunity to flourish.
