Today, over 200 gifts totaling over $100,000 has been raised for GMCF to support community needs and opportunities such as community beautification, historic preservation, education, culture and the arts, and programs for youth and senior citizens. 32 grants totaling over $20,000 has been distributed to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Malone area working to improve its residents' lives.
If your organization received a grant from Malone Community Fund a report on how the funds were spend it required. Share your stories by downloading the following report: GMCF Grantee Report Form.
The GMCF committee also established two other funds to support needs in the Greater Malone region: Bev Quenville Art Fund- to foster the connection between artists and community by mentoring students to design a project to enhance the community of Malone, and the Alice Ballard Hospice Fund- to benefit Hospice serving Northern Franklin County.
The Fund has always been overseen by community volunteers. The advisory council changes over time and the volunteers ensure that every dollar is spent well and wisely. We thank the volunteers who help the fund grow.
