Newspaper applauds ACT for meeting national standards
ACT recently received a "cheer" from the Plattsburgh Press-Republican for meeting the highest national standards for philanthropy.
The newspaper's editorial staff lauded ACT, the community foundation serving the Adirondack region, for once again attaining accreditation from the Community Foundations National Standards Board.
"ACT has helped numerous local organizations and individuals be able to offer grants, scholarships and other funding to support people and projects around the North Country," the Press-Republican writes. "It is affirming to know that ACT manages all the money in adherence to the highest ethical standards."
