North Country Regional Economic Development Council to Hold CFA Workshops
The North Country Regional Economic Development Council (NCREDC) will hold Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) workshops for potential applicants to learn more about the third round of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s initiative to stimulate job creation and economic growth through the Regional Economic Development Councils. The workshops will be held June 26 in Plattsburgh and June 28 in Watertown. In 2013, up to $760 million in economic development resources will be available to applicants through the CFA.

The CFA application period has offiically opened to applicants across the seven-county North Country region, which includes Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties. The deadline for CFA submissions is 4 p.m. Aug. 12. CFAs will be reviewed by the NCREDC based on their alignment with the Council’s strategic plan and will be reviewed on a technical basis by the State Agency Resource Team.
