Jennie and Alan Booth of Plattsburgh use their community foundation to build a lasting fund that gives to what matters to them.
Jennie is a volunteer leader who works with CVPH Medical Center, the library, the food pantry, The Y, and the Girl Scouts. She also serves on Adirondack Foundation’s Advisory Council and Legacy Advisory Group. Alan is owner and operator of Booth Insurance.
“Alan and I believe in being generous to nonprofit organizations in our area,” Jennie said. “We endeavor to share our resources in life with those less lucky. Our favorites are those that feed, clothe, house, and educate to improve the lives of others. We are excited that a£er we are gone these organizations will continue to receive help from our fund with Adirondack Foundation. We hope to leave enough to make a difference in our community and region. Adirondack Foundation is a wonderful asset for the North Country and for those of us who care about the future of our area.”
