Investment Oversight
Adirondack Foundation continually reviews its asset allocation strategy and manager selection. The key to our long-term success includes a combination of highly skilled investment managers and a strong, intelligent discipline with regard to asset allocation. Assisting Adirondack Foundation with these functions is a Finance Committee made up of business and investment leaders from throughout the region.
Each quarter, Colonial Consulting provides Adirondack Foundation with an in-depth analysis of each manager's investment performance. New investment managers are selected when the Finance Committee seeks greater depth in a particular asset class. And, investment managers will be dismissed if they demonstrate poor performance, veer from the investment discipline for which they were hired, or experience unfavorable changes in the organizational structure of their investment firm including loss of investment talent.
